Weston & Shirley’s Guide to Vancouver
This co-design project involved working with the residents at the Purdy care home, Shirley and Weston. After a series of zoom calls, we decided to create a Vancouver travel guide, to tell Weston and Shirley's stories through the lens of their beloved home Vancouver. The guide shows the evolution of the city over the last 90 years.
The Collaborative Process
Working with Shirley and Weston was such an honour, I loved hearing about how our shared home town, Vancouver, has changed throughout the years. Learning about Shirley and Weston’s unique personalities and interests was such an amazing experience. Their stories changed the way I look at everyday places like the PNE and the False Creek area.
